Privacy Policy

FLEXI DUIT is published by Djemangin Dev (“we”, “us”). This policy explains what the app does and does not do with information. The app is a guide, a loan-cost simulation and a set of calculators for personal loans in Malaysia.

Loan applications and applicant data. FLEXI DUIT does not accept loan applications, does not lend or arrange loans, and does not collect any applicant data such as your name, MyKad / IC or passport number, income, employer or bank details. It does not access your contacts, SMS messages, call logs, photos, files or precise location, and it requests none of those permissions. Applications for a loan are made only with the lender itself, through the lender's own channels, under the lender's own privacy policy.

The short version

There is no account, no login and no server of ours that receives your data. Numbers you type into the calculators, the guide chapters you read and the checklist items you tick stay on your phone and are deleted when you uninstall the app.

The one exception is advertising: the app shows ads through Google AdMob, and the Google Mobile Ads SDK collects your device's advertising identifier to do so. Details below.

1. Information we do not collect

Name, email address, phone number or postal address
MyKad / IC number, passport number or any identity document
Income, payslips, employer, bank account or card details
Passwords, PINs or one-time passwords
Contacts, SMS, call logs, photos, files, microphone, camera or precise location

The app itself asks only for internet access. The Google Mobile Ads SDK and the AndroidX libraries it relies on add standard, non-dangerous permissions to the installed app: network state, the advertising ID, basic phone state (network type only — not your phone number or calls), wake lock and foreground service (used to schedule ad-related background work). None of them gives access to contacts, SMS, call logs, photos, files or location.

Calculator figures are kept only while the screen is open. You can clear checklist progress in the app (Checklist → Reset) and remove everything by uninstalling the app. If Android backup is enabled on your phone, your settings and checklist progress may be included in your own Google backup.

3. Advertising (Google AdMob)

The app is free and supported by ads from Google AdMob. To serve, measure and frequency-cap ads, the Google Mobile Ads SDK may collect and process:

The device advertising identifier (Android Advertising ID)
Device information such as model, operating-system version and language
Approximate location derived from the IP address (country or region)
Ad interaction events such as impressions and clicks

This data is collected and shared with Google for advertising, ad measurement (analytics) and fraud prevention; we do not receive it in a form that identifies you. Google's use is described at How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services and in the Google Privacy Policy.

Your choices

Where the law requires consent, a consent form from Google's User Messaging Platform appears before any ad is requested. Where that applies, you can change or withdraw consent at any time from Settings → Privacy choices in the app.
You can reset or delete your advertising ID, or opt out of ad personalisation, in your phone's settings (Settings → Google → Ads, or Settings → Privacy → Ads, depending on the device).
Settings → Ad-free break lets you watch one optional video ad in exchange for a period with no ads.

4. Network requests the app makes

Ad configuration. A small JSON file is fetched over HTTPS from our server so ads can be switched on or off without an app update. The request carries no information about you beyond what any web request carries (such as IP address), and we keep no profile of it.
Ads. Requests made by the Google Mobile Ads SDK, as described above.
This policy. Opening “Privacy Policy” in the app opens this page in your browser.

All traffic uses HTTPS; unencrypted traffic is disabled.

5. Crash diagnostics

The app contains no crash-reporting or analytics SDK of its own. If you have chosen to share usage and diagnostics with Google on your device, Google Play may give us aggregated, anonymised crash and performance statistics (Android vitals) that do not identify you.

6. Children

The app is meant for adults dealing with personal finance and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

7. Retention, deletion and your rights

Because we hold no personal data on any server, there is nothing for us to retain or delete there. Local data is removed when you clear it in the app or uninstall it. For advertising data held by Google, use Google's controls linked above. You may contact us with any privacy question or request, including under Malaysia's Personal Data Protection Act 2010, and we will respond.

8. Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the new version will be published at this address with a new effective date.
