Privacy Policy
The short version
This app has no account, no sign-in and no server of its own. It never asks for your name, Aadhaar or PAN number, bank details, salary slip, password or one-time password. Everything you type into the calculators, and every box you tick on the checklist, stays on your phone and is deleted when you uninstall the app.
The one exception is advertising. The app shows adverts through Google AdMob, and the Google Mobile Ads SDK collects a device advertising identifier in order to serve them. That is set out in full below.
1. Information we do not collect
We do not ask for, collect, transmit or store any of the following:
- Your name, email address, phone number or postal address
- Your Aadhaar number, PAN, or any other identity document
- Your income, employer, salary slips or bank statements
- Bank account details, card details or any financial account information
- Passwords, PINs, CVVs or one-time passwords
- Your contacts, SMS messages, call logs, photos, files or precise location
- Any document, image or scan
The app declares one Android permission: internet access. It has no access to your contacts, SMS, call logs, camera, microphone, storage or location — none of which it requests, and none of which it could use. This matters in this category: the Reserve Bank of India's Digital Lending Directions, 2025 forbid lending apps from reaching into phone resources such as files, media, contact lists and call logs, and Google Play's Personal Loans policy treats those permissions as a warning sign. There is nothing to collect here because there is no application form in the app at all.
2. Information stored on your device
The following is written to local storage on your phone only. It is never uploaded, never synced, and never visible to us or to anyone else.
| What | Why |
|---|---|
| The last loan amount, rate and tenure you entered | So you do not have to retype them between screens |
| Your checklist ticks | So your progress survives closing the app |
| Theme preference and whether you have seen the introduction | App settings |
| Advert pacing counters and any ad-free window you have earned | To limit how often adverts appear |
You can clear the checklist from Checklist → Reset, and you can erase everything by uninstalling the app.
3. Advertising
This app is free and is paid for by advertising supplied by Google AdMob. To serve adverts, measure them and limit how often you see the same one, the Google Mobile Ads SDK may collect and process:
- Your device advertising identifier (Android Advertising ID)
- Device information such as model, operating system version and language
- Coarse, IP-derived location at country or region level
- Advert interaction events, such as an impression or a click
This data is collected by Google, not by us. We never receive it and we cannot link it to you. Google's handling of it is governed by Google Privacy & Terms.
For the Google Play Data safety declaration this corresponds to: Device or other IDs — Advertising ID — collected, shared with third parties, for advertising. Nothing else is collected or shared.
Your choices
- Where the law requires consent, the app shows a consent form from Google's User Messaging Platform before any advert is requested. You can change or withdraw that consent at any time from Settings → Manage ad privacy choices.
- You can reset or delete your advertising identifier in your device settings, under Settings → Google → Ads, and opt out of advert personalisation there.
4. Network requests
The app makes exactly three kinds of outbound request:
- Advert configuration. A small JSON file is fetched over HTTPS so adverts can be switched on or off without an app update. The request carries no information about you.
- Advert serving. Requests made by the Google Mobile Ads SDK, described above.
- Links you tap. Official links open in your own browser and load that site directly. Whatever happens there is governed by that site's privacy policy, not this one.
All app traffic uses HTTPS. Cleartext traffic is disabled at the platform level.
5. Children
This app is intended for adults considering or repaying a personal loan. It is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect any information from children.
6. Data retention and deletion
Because no personal data leaves your device, there is nothing for us to retain or delete on a server. Local data is removed when you clear it in the app or uninstall it. For data held by Google in connection with advertising, use Google's own controls linked above.
7. Your rights
Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and comparable laws elsewhere, you have rights of access, correction, erasure and grievance redressal over personal data held about you. Since this app holds no personal data about you on any server, those rights are satisfied by the on-device controls described above. If you believe otherwise, write to the address at the bottom of this page.
8. Accuracy of the content, and what this app is not
The guidance and figures in this app are educational estimates, computed on your own device from the values you enter. They are not an offer, not a quotation, not approval, and not a statement of anyone's loan balance, and they are not financial or legal advice.
Specifically, and to be unambiguous: Paisa Boxx does not accept loan applications, does not collect applicant data, does not act as a lender, broker, lending service provider or agent for anyone, and does not access contacts, SMS, call logs, photos or precise location. Applications, repayments, statements and account queries are handled only by the lender concerned, through the lender's own official channels.
The regulatory rules summarised in the app come from the Reserve Bank of India's published circulars and are restated in the app's own words. Rules and amounts change. Always confirm the binding figures against the Key Facts Statement your lender gives you, and the rules against rbi.org.in.
9. Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the updated version will be published at this address with a new date at the top. Material changes will also be noted in the app's release notes.
10. Contact
Questions about this policy: publish@djemangin.web.id
Questions about an actual loan, application, repayment or account must go to the lender concerned, not to us. The app's Official links screen lists the Reserve Bank of India's register of licensed lenders and its complaint channels.
